Sukhdev Gill O.D., FIAOMC

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dr. Sukhdev Gill proudly calls the Pacific Northwest (PNW) home. His journey through academic excellence and dedication to healthcare is only matched by his commitment for his profession as an optometric physician

Dr. Gill’s pursuit of a career in healthcare began at the University of Florida, where he completed an ophthalmic tech program, laying the groundwork for his passion for eye care and patient well-being. Driven by an unyielding dedication to improve people’s lives through vision health, he furthered his education by earning a Doctorate in Optometry from the esteemed Illinois College of Optometry in 2004.

Given his relentless pursuit of excellence in the field of optometry, Dr. Gill further completed his residency training in ocular disease and refractive surgery. However, his interest in myopia management narrowed his professional journey towards a singular focus within the field of optometry. Recognizing the profound impact of ortho-k on vision correction and myopia control, Dr. Gill made the bold decision to exclusively focus on this transformative practice, shaping his remarkable professional trajectory.

In 2020, Dr. Gill achieved a Fellowship in Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, solidifying his reputation as a trailblazer in the field. His expertise and unwavering commitment have earned him a respected advisory role on the board of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC).

Beyond his practice, Dr. Gill actively engages in teaching and lecturing, sharing his expertise in ortho-k with fellow practitioners. He finds great pleasure in working with children to positively impact their lives specifically through orthokeratology and myopia control.
